Sexuality
Sexuality and identity development are a big part of adolescence, and mark the transition into adulthood. All teens must go through these difficult changes, and the journey can be made even more challenging for teens who do not conform to the ‘norm’. Parents and educators in the past often dismissed sexual feelings toward members of the same sex as ‘just a phase’, leaving countless individuals scarred and damaged. In recent years, however, more understanding has been shed on GLBTQ and sexuality. The following sites offer just a glimpse of what is available, and include information about love, sexuality, gender development, and STDs, among other things.
